5 REASONS WHY BAHUBALLI 2 BECOME A MONSTER SUCCESS

The massive worldwide success of a movie like BAHUBALI (BB) does a world of good for the Indian cinema. Now we figure out why it could become such a massive success in terms of content and money.

THINK  DESI

The problem with many film-makers is they are inspired to tell matter of fact and persona driven stories. Bahubali makers very cleverly stayed away from this dogma and wrote a script that’s wholeheartedly rooted in our Desi-Indian culture. Many film-makers in north, due to whatever their personal biases, stay away from these type of stories and as a result have never been able to see footfalls such as what Bahubali garnered.

THINK RELEVANT

I have always maintained that massively successful films need to be relevant and bridge a certain gap between supply and demand of product. The movie business becomes a success only when Demand>Supply, at a given point in time. The creators of BB made sure this was the case. They identified that for a long time a war saga driven by family issues and great technology hasn’t been made.

THINK TECH

With a budget which may be is more for an avg. Indian movie but peanuts when compared to an avg. Hollywood tentpole film, BB makers spent their creative energies and delivering a jaw dropping VFX experience unlike an Indian or asian film. The tech was used to enhance an already epic story and not just for gimmickry. RESULT: The repeat value and goosebumps

THINK SOUND

The music and background score of BB stands out in particular. We rarely tend to give much importance in success of a movie to things like background score. BUT in BB that’s not the case. The soundtrack leaves an everlasting impression (muck like a Nolan film) and the audiences are left craving for more. Again, Demand > Supply

THINK BIG

EPIC scenes only work on a grand scale. You wont expect a movie like Dilwale to ever deliver anything epic. BB makers were clear in their head. Think BIG. Make it BIG. EARN BIG.

A special mention to the producers for backing such a difficult film in terms of allocation of funds and time and not being greedy after the first part became a huge success. They poured all the money in the second part.

Only one Word: PRABHAS = BAHUBALI.

He was simply AMAZING and took the audience through a ride with him. KUDOS!

Why did Katappa Kill Bahuballi? The question needed an answer and the audience went in and saw why? Make an audience. Don’t beg them through promotions. HAIL BAHUBALI
